Vocational Internships 

Our tenth grade students annually attend compulsory vocational internships for one week. Prior to their internships, the students learned how to write job applications in German and English classes and immediately applied for internships in Abu Dhabi on their own initiative. The focus of this independent effort was the student’s interest in a specific field of work. The fact that the applications were then successful is certainly in many cases also due to the support of the parents – for which we would like to express our sincere thanks.

University Visits

Our 11th and 12th grade students regularly visit local universities and experience uni-life first hand during their open days. In February 2020 our high school students spent the day at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. The group was divided and was then given a tour for our French speaking students and one tour was hosted in English. Our students were impressed with the variety of majors and minors Sorbonne had to offer and listened intently to the experiences of the students at the university.
