Student Council

The student council consists of the class representatives of the individual classes and represents the interests of the entire student body. The student council is headed by Janis Ribeiro und Mariam Al Hameli from class 12.

“SMV” stands for “Schülermitverwaltung” (student council). The student council at GISAD acts as the decision-making body of the student body. The two heads of the student council work together with two liaison teachers. At the first hearing of the students’ council, the class representatives and teachers are elected and then organize the further meetings. These meetings enable the respective classes to discuss important matters and concerns of the students, which the SMV then tries to implement.
