Cafeteria
The German International School in Abu Dhabi is pleased to work together with the competent catering company Keita, who specializes in school catering.In addition to hot lunches, Keita Catering also provides a comprehensive breakfast service and healthy snacks.
The cafeteria is open from Sunday to Thursday from 09:30 – 14:30.
Children are issued with a cafeteria card which can be credited with money via the Keita online portal: https://keita.ae/moms/
Parents receive unique log-in credentials to issue the payment.
Nurse
The German International School in Abu Dhabi has a fully equipped infirmary and a trained nurse.
In principle, all students and the staff are insured against accidents during school hours, excursions or other school activities. Daily care includes immediate measures in case of accidents as well as routine examinations.

School Bus Service
The German International School in Abu Dhabi has 9 school buses. These take the children to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon at 13.30 and/or 15.30.
At the beginning of each school year the bus routes are revised according to the new enrolments. The school bus picks up the children registered for the bus transport from the agreed places of pick-up at the scheduled times. Due to possible new registrations during the current school year, there may occasionally be delays in the morning pick-up. Parents and children will be informed in good time. There is no right to be picked up at the front door or to a certain order of collection. In some cases a meeting point must be agreed upon.

Registrations for single trips must be downloaded, filled out and physically handed in and paid for at the secretary’s office on the morning of the planned trip.
General registrations for the school year and the switch of bus routes may be filled in and sent it via the online portal directly.
Registrations and cancellations can only be made by the parents or guardians. By registering for the school bus, the parents or guardians accept the valid school bus regulations.

School Shop
Our school shop supplies our students with materials which are aligned with the standard of the school. The assortment is based on the school’s requirement lists. A large selection of exercise books, writing pads and covers are available. In addition, there are high-quality T-shirts and polo shirts with embroidered GISAD logo in the colors white, pink, blue, grey and black available for purchase.
Students may pick up the inventory list at reception or download it below. Payments are to be made directly to our school secretary, Mrs. Danzinger. The materials can then be picked up during the 2 break at the Media Library.
